Here we show you how to make a simple bird feeder from a small log.
What you need to make the bird feeder
- A small log
- A saw
- A drill
- A large drill bit
- A small drill bit
- Suet bird feed block
- Bird seed
- String
How to make the log bird feeder
1. Find your log – it should be about three inches in diameter.
2. Slice a small section off which is about 3 inches in width.
3. Drill a hole through the center then through the cross section.
4. Mix the suet and the bird seed.
5. Stuff the suet mix into the large holes.
6. Use the smaller drill bit to drill a hole through a corner, then feed the string through and tie the ends together.
7. Hang in a place where it will attract birds.
