Crail, Fife
Crail is a picturesque fishing village and a has a good mixture of rocky and sandy coves which are fantastic for exploring. You will find a good mixture of shore life here. Look out for seaweeds, seals and dolphins.

Crantock Beach, Cornwall
At the North East end of Crantock Beach there is the river Gannel and a little ferry which operates all year. On the northern bank, there is great crabbing to be had by dropping crablines off the small quayside. Look out for blennies, crabs and even the odd eel or two.
